手と花では2025年12月20日（土）〜2026年1月25日（日）の会期で 水野健一郎・ウエオカケンタ・小田佑二 ３人展「花と手−HANA TO TE–」を開催いたします。

の打ち上げで水野健一郎君も交えて「三人展を『手と花』でやれたら良いね」と話していたら ちょうど僕が『手と花』の千絵子さんから個展のオファーを頂いたので、「三人展にさせてもらえませんか？」と相談して今回３人での展示を開催する展開に！

過去に何度かイベントでのライブペイントの仕事のオファーを貰った時にも小田君を誘って一緒にやった事もあったし、水野君とも過去に一緒に何度もライブペイントをやってたので、幕張メッセでのTOKYO GAME SHOWでのライブペイント仕事の時に二人同時に誘って一緒にコラボレーションしたこともあり、つまり僕からすると個別にも同時にもコラボしてきたリスペクトしてるアーティスト二人との三人展なのです！！！

花と手をモチーフに手と花で展示するという事以外、特にテーマやコンセプトの縛り無く各自自由なスタイルで表現するのでバラバラな印象になってしまう可能性もありますが、この三人で長年培ってきたグルーヴで面白い空間が生みだされると信じて楽しみにしています！
現段階で僕は12/21と1/25以外の日曜と毎週土曜に在廊予定で、初日は勿論作家三人在廊してのレセプションです！日程は未確定ですが、小田君は花の絵を描くワークショップ、水野君はマイファイ絵画実験室、そして僕は在廊時に似顔絵描いたりもするつもりです。三者三様の花と手をモチーフにした作品を肴に『手と花』で１ヶ月間盛り上がりましょう！

因みに僕が今回メインの50号サイズの絵のモチーフに時計草選んだのは、今年の春に初めて存在知って宇宙衛星のアンテナみたいな珍しいフォルムにびっくりしたし、なんかエロティックでグロい雰囲気もあって良いなと思ったからです。小さい花だけど大きく描いたら面白いかも？とも思いながら春頃から制作に取り掛かって夏に途中段階で一旦Tシャツにもしてます〜。

ダブサウンドのディレイとかエコーエフェクトからのインスパイアな爪が飛び散ってる表現は、水野くんが昔VJでバナナとかリンゴが空に飛び散ってる映像へのオマージュにもなってると思います。エロティックなものを無機質なオブジェ的に表現するんはロバート・メイプルソープへのオマージュも入ってますね。

花を描くことに抵抗がありました。わざわざ絵にする意味を見出せなかったからです。その一方で、花壇の花は30年前からずっと気になっていました。絵のモチーフとして、雑草、石、プラスチックのガーデンフェンスへの興味の延長線上にある花壇の花。日本の日常的な風景の一部でありながら、当たり前すぎて見えてない存在。しかしながら、一旦それを気にかけるとそこかしこにいるパンジー。一番好きな花はチューリップですが、嫌いだったパンジーも見つけたら写真を撮らずにはいられなくなってしまいました。そして写真を撮るためには手が必要なのです。

既視感と未視感の狭間に存在する“超時空感”を求めて、潜在的絵画体験である TV アニメからの影響を脳内で再構築し、多様な手法を用いてアウトプット。その一方で、クラムジング及び脱印象的描画法と名付けた手法によって“表現のキワ”を追究する。
映像チーム「超常現象」、美術ユニット「最高記念室」としても活動。

ウエオカケンタ / Kenta Ueoka
主に広告関係の仕事と並行して、個展、ライブペイント等の活動を行う。
メジャーな企業の仕事から、アンダーグラウンドシーンの Dj やバンドのロゴマーク、各種パーティーやイベントでのボディー・ペイント・パフォーマンスやフライヤー・ワーク迄、様々な画風で幅広く対応するクリエイターとして、数々のディレクターやデザイナー、VJ、ダンサーとのコラボレーションも展開中。
対象の写真的リアリティを保ちつつも、余白と独特のデフォルメをほどこしたスタイルを得意としている。

小田佑二 / Yuji Oda
秩序ある即興のパターン化をテーマに、見聞きしたこと、コミュニケーションの中から受けたインスピレーションや情景を線や面の構成で表現している。国内外での壁画制作や作品発表をはじめ、フェスやイベントでのペイントワークショップやライブペイントを行っている。
そのほか書籍、音楽、ファッションなど様々なジャンルのアートワークを手がける。
ライブパフォーマンスユニット「ODANEEV （オダニー）」としても活動。

Tetoka will host the group exhibition “HANA TO TE” by Kenichiro Mizuno, Kenta Ueoka, and Yuji Oda from Saturday, December 20, 2025, to Sunday, January 25, 2026.

Last year, at the wrap party for our two-person exhibition ‘POLYPHONIC’ featuring Yuji Oda and Yama with flowers as motifs, we were chatting with Kenichiro Mizuno about how cool it would be to do a three-person show at ‘Tetoka’. Then, right around that time, we got an offer for a solo exhibition from ‘Tetoka’! So we asked, “Could we turn it into a three-person show instead?” And that’s how this three-person exhibition came to be!

I’ve collaborated with Oda-kun before when I was offered live painting gigs at events, and I’ve also done live painting with Mizuno-kun many times in the past. So when I got the live painting job at the TOKYO GAME SHOW in Makuhari Messe, I invited both of them to collaborate simultaneously. In other words, this is a three-person exhibition with two artists I deeply respect—artists I’ve collaborated with individually and simultaneously!!!

While this exhibition might be loosely organized—with no specific theme or concept beyond using Flowers and Handsas motifs for display—and could potentially feel disjointed as each artist expresses themselves freely, I believe the long-cultivated groove we share as a trio will create an exciting space. I’m looking forward to it!

Oda-kun will hold a flower painting workshop, Mizuno-kun will run his MyFai Painting Lab, and I intend to sketch portraits during my gallery hours. Let’s enjoy a month of excitement at Tetoka, using our distinct works featuring flowers and hands as our inspiration!

used to resist painting flowers. I couldn’t see the point in deliberately turning them into art. Yet at the same time, flowers in flower beds have intrigued me for the past thirty years. As a subject for painting, garden flowers exist on the same continuum as my interest in weeds, stones, and plastic garden fences. They are part of Japan’s everyday scenery, yet so commonplace they go unnoticed. However, once you start paying attention, you see pansies everywhere. While tulips are my favorite flower, even the pansies I once disliked became impossible to pass by without taking a photo. And to take photos, you need hands.

Kenichiro Mizuno
Seeking a “transcendental sense of time and space” existing between déjà vu and jamais vu, he reconstructs within his mind the influence of TV anime—a latent pictorial experience—and outputs it using diverse techniques. Simultaneously, he pursues the “edge of expression” through methods he terms cramming and de-impressionistic drawing.
He also works as part of the video team “Paranormal Phenomena” and the art unit “Supreme Memorial Room.”

Kenta Ueoka
Primarily works in advertising while also holding solo exhibitions and performing live painting.
As a versatile creator capable of handling diverse styles, he collaborates with numerous directors, designers, VJs, and dancers—from major corporate projects to underground DJ and band logos, body painting performances at parties and events, and flyer design.
He excels in a style that maintains photographic realism while incorporating negative space and unique deformation.

Yuji Oda
Exploring the theme of structured improvisation, he expresses inspirations and scenes drawn from his experiences and interactions through compositions of lines and planes. His activities include mural creation and exhibitions both domestically and internationally, as well as painting workshops and live painting at festivals and events.
He also creates artwork across various genres including books, music, and fashion.
He is also active as part of the live performance unit “ODANEEV”.
